About the Role
As the WTG Commissioning Engineer, you will be part of the WTG Package team of the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project. You will be based on the WTG Contractor’s Commissioning vessel on a rotation basis, which is planned be based out of Taichung Port, Taiwan and report to the WTG Commissioning Manager.

This role requires high collaboration between the WTG Package, the WTG Contractor and other contractors working on the WTG or on the Contractor’s Marine Spread. You should be able to take on a variety of tasks and subjects, as well as work flexibly with the project as it moves through the different phases, in order to support in delivering the WTG Package. Your focus will be to supervise the Contractor and conduct inspections or other monitoring works, reporting to the onboard WTG Deputy Commissioning Manager and further to the WTG Commissioning Manager, as required, to ensure delivery of the WTG commissioning scope.

Key Responsibilities
In this capacity, you shall take on a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to the following:

  • Understand the Employer’s Requirements and what the Contractor should be delivering.
  • Support the WTG Deputy Commissioning Manager to deliver the commissioning scope offshore in to maintain programme and quality standard, as well as other project deliverables.
  • Conduct Employer walk-downs, inspections and other monitoring works within the WTG.
  • Liaise with the Quality team to report defects/issues and support follow up with the Contractor.
  • Understand the Hai Long Electrical Safety Rules to monitor that the Contractor is applying correctly.
  • Support the Employer with conducting grid code compliance testing.
  • Review of commissioning related documentation, to ensure accuracy for work conducted.
  • Review the Contractor’s daily progress report to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications & Key Skills
  • At least 2 years’ experience within WTG package during project execution in a similar role.
  • Competent when dealing with health and safety standards, quality standards, best practice, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Organised and process-driven, able to work independently or collaboratively as suits the situation best.
  • IT literate and able to learn and make full use of internal systems.
  • Ability to establish, maintain and develop effective relationships at different seniority levels.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced High and Medium Voltage (HV/MV) Supervisor to oversee the design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and operation/maintenance of offshore wind onshore substation equipment. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with technical specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations while maintaining quality and performance targets.

The HV/MV supervisor will support the EPCI Contractors towards achieving their commissioning activities through the project construction final stages and give advice, instructions and supervision ensuring safety from the High/Medium Voltage electrical system and protection system are achieved.

You will also oversee the installation and Commissioning of Mechanical & Electrical equipment from a client perspective like MTR, GIS, VSR, power cable Harmonic Filter and Protection Relay etc.

Key Responsibilities
In this capacity, you shall take on a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to the following:

DESIGN & ENGINEERING
  • Collaborate with design teams to review and approve HV/MV system designs, ensuring compliance with local grid codes and international standards.
  • Provide technical expertise in the selection of transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and other substation equipment.
  • Ensure proper integration of SCADA, protection, and control systems for grid compliance.

FABRICATION & PROCUREMENT
  • Supervise the manufacturing and factory acceptance testing (FAT) of electrical equipment.
  • Ensure quality control measures are met during the fabrication of substation components.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.

INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING
  • Oversee site installation activities, ensuring alignment with design documents and safety requirements.
  • Conduct and supervise site acceptance testing (SAT) and system integration testing (SIT), and functional verification of HV/MV equipment.
  • Ensure proper power system protection relay setting coordination and protection scheme validation before energization.
  • Coordinate with local utilities and stakeholders for successful grid connection.

OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for HV/MV systems.
  • Supervise troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of electrical components to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures during maintenance activities.
  • Train and mentor maintenance personnel on HV/MV system operations.

HEALTH, SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
  • Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Implement and enforce electrical safety measures to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper work permits are in place for HV/MV operations.


Qualifications & Key Skills
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in HV/MV electrical systems, preferably in offshore wind or substation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of power system protection, grid codes, and relay coordination.
  • Experience in SCADA integration and control system interfaces.
  • Familiarity with TPC (Taiwan Power Company), IEC, IEEE, NFPA international regulations and grid connection requirements is required.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and abilities to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Certification in High Voltage Switching Operations (preferred).
  • Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and local grid standards.
  • Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using electrical design and simulation software.

About the Role
As a Site Based Onshore Substation MEP Commissioning Manger, , you will be part of the Onshore Substation Execution Team and Commissioning Team on the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project. Reporting directly to the Package Manager Onshore Substation and Lead Commissioning Manager.

You will provide hands on support to the EPCI Contractor leading the site supervisor towards installation of Mechanical, Electrical and Piping (MEP) systems and components whilst managing the interfaces challenges which arise from contractors and sub-contractors.

You will be responsible for delivery of the full MEP systems including capturing and closing out related quality works prior and post commissioning.


Key Responsibilities
In this capacity, you shall take on a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to the following: 
  • Oversee that MEP Installation and Commissioning is in accordance with design specifications and standards 
  • Overseeing Product Quality and HSE standards are met 
  • Manage the interfaces between subcontractors
  • Drive the teams on site towards achieving scope on time
  • Manage any risk raised or opportunities on site which affect the MPE Installation and Commissioning
  • Keep track of contractors’ daily work activities
  • Interface with Internal and External Commissioning teams.
  • Manage the logistical challenges onsite
  • Support the MEP team and Commissioning team with resources as required, for example Scaffolding needs
  • Feed into the progress reporting to the site planners

In the role of Operations Lead – CLV works, you will report directly to the Cables T&I Package Manager for general day-to-day reporting, communications and operational activities. You will be responsible for the coordination of all activities and documentation related to the Cable Installation and Transport Vessel(s). Furthermore, you will actively maintain and interact within the Cables team and with the related packages in the coordination of the relevant interfaces.

The Operations Lead – CLV works shall particularly take ownership of following up the preparations of the actual execution works as taken up by the cable T&I contractor(s) and subcontractor(s) and reviewing the plans of the contractors prepared for this. In this capacity, the Operations Lead – CLV works shall take on a broad package of tasks, including but not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as main point of contact for all matters related to the Cable Installation and Transport Vessel(s),
  • Follow the day to day operations during the execution of the works and support as required with technical issues, including overseeing the; Vessel planning, Vessel manning, Vessel equipment, Offshore works, Cable loading, Cable storage, Cable transport, Port calls, Relevant documentation, Relevant permits (with authorities and within the Hai Long project), Client reps,
  • Support and/or lead technical discussions and interfaces with local Contractor(s), Subcontractor(s) or Stakeholder(s) relevant to the Cable transport and installation scope,
  • Dealing with cable package external interface with other asset owners which could cross or be in proximity with the project’s cables,
  • Support in following-up and challenging the T&I contractor on providing the solution to all technical aspects of the cable T&I, especially focused on the planning of the offshore operations for Cable transport and installation,
  • Review and provide recommendations regarding Contractor proposals and plans, including but not limited to logistics (transport and storage) plan, loading plan, installation work method statements, installation analysis, installation storyboards and drawings, lift plans/ drawings, installation sequences, weather limitations, weather downtime estimations, etc., and confirm compliance with the contract, available codes and standards,
  • Follow up on compliance of T&I Contractor with the Quality and HSE requirements for the Transport and Installation processes as per the Employer's Requirements and Contracts,
  • Support in the review of contractor reports, to ensure compliance with the relevant schedules and contracts, this will include understanding the contract as well as technical schedules,
  • Report of technical issues to the project management, particularly risks and develop mitigation measures as part of the overall risk management process,
  • While being focused on the final result it is needed from time to time to be able making informed decisions independently.

  • Support the EPCI director with ad-hoc analysis and coordination activities
  • Preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations to EPCI Director, the project management board and shareholders
  • Coordination of selected cross package activities and assessments to enable optimal decision making with regards to technical, schedule, quality, safety and commercial parameters
  • Managing external project stakeholders such as Lender’s Technical Advisor
  • Liaise with other departments such as PMO (e.g. wrt. change management, risk mangement), Finance, Legal etc.

  • BSc or MSc in Engineering
  • Experience with coordinating the assessment and planning of offshore wind farm works e.g. within design, construction and commissioning phases
