Key Responsibilities

You shall be responsible for the following types of tasks:

  • Legal Research: Support preliminary legal study (including legal research on the administrative order and judicial court judgment system) and liaison with competent authorities.]

  • Meeting Minutes: Support the initial drafting work for the meeting minutes of critical external and internal meetings, in particular for the regular/ad-hoc MC meeting minutes.

  • Legal Budget: Support all the coordination and logistics work in respect of the payment process, invoices issued from external law firms or legal database suppliers, budget management, liaison with relevant stakeholders and initial review of the relevant engagement letters.  

  • Corporate Governance and Compliance: Support the corporate governance and compliance matters under the supervision of Compliance Officer, which includes but not limited to:

    • improving/updating the internal policies,

    • conducting the comparison study of Hai Long's policies against the ones implemented in the Sponsors entity or at the other affiliates level, and

    • assisting on relevant education programs and/or training as requested.

  • Document Coordination: Support in preparing the legal documentation, coordinating the signature execution, updating the inventory and archive of the legal documentation and other logistics work as required.

  • Miscellaneous: Support other miscellaneous and/or ad-hoc tasks instrumental to the Legal function, including coordination for department activities.
     

Qualifications & Key Skills
  • Have a positive attitude, a strong drive and are eager to learn.
  • Ability to work in a structured manner with focus on results and value creation.
  • Show good documentation skills when delivering on an assignment.
  • Have strong communication skills and can engage with internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
